A biodegradable plastic garbage bag making machine is an industrial system designed to produce eco-friendly bags that can break down naturally over time. The manufacturing process involves melting and shaping bioplastic materials derived from renewable sources like corn or cassava starch into a continuous film, then cutting and sealing them into individual bags. Types of machinesThe primary types of machines are typically sold as production lines, with variations in their level of automation and the features they produce:
  • Semi-automatic machines: These require more manual labor for tasks like feeding materials, but are generally smaller and less expensive.
  • Fully automatic machines: These handle the entire process from raw material to finished product with minimal human input, offering high production speed and efficiency.
  • Drawstring garbage bag machines: These specialized versions can add a drawstring feature to the final product.
  • Blown film extrusion lines: For large-scale manufacturers, a complete production line will include a blown film plant to produce the film from pellets before the film is sent to the bag-making unit.

biodegradable plastic bag-making machine is an industrial production line that converts biodegradable polymers into eco-friendly bags for various applications. The machines handle bioplastics like PBAT, PLA, and cornstarch, ensuring the resulting bags decompose naturally. Core manufacturing processThe manufacturing process for biodegradable bags typically involves two primary stages: film extrusion and bag conversion.
  1. Film extrusion: Bio-plastic pellets are fed into a machine, melted, and extruded through a die to form a thin, continuous film. In blown film extrusion, the most common method, the film is inflated into a bubble and then cooled to create a strong, tubular roll.
  2. Bag conversion: The extruded film rolls are then moved to a separate unit for cutting, sealing, and forming. This stage involves the following steps:
    • Printing: A printing machine applies logos or other designs to the film.
    • Cutting and sealing: The film is cut and sealed according to the bag's size and design specifications. Heat, ultrasonic, or impulse sealing techniques are used to create durable, strong seals.
    • Finishing: Optional attachments can be used for punching handles (D-cut, loop-handle), creating gussets, or forming special bag types like garbage bags with drawstrings.
