ultrasonic lace sewing machine is an industrial device that uses high-frequency vibrations to sew, cut, and emboss thermoplastic materials without using needles or thread. The process is highly efficient and creates seamless, durable bonds. How it worksAn ultrasonic lace machine operates by converting electrical energy into mechanical vibrations.
  1. Ultrasonic generator: This component converts 50 Hz AC current into a high-frequency electrical signal, typically in the 20 to 40 kHz range.
  2. Piezoelectric transducer: The high-frequency electrical signal is sent to the transducer, which contains piezoelectric crystals. The transducer converts the electrical signals into powerful, high-frequency mechanical vibrations.
  3. Horn (Welding tool): The transducer transmits these vibrations to a metal horn, which amplifies the mechanical energy and directs it toward the fabric.
  4. Pattern roller: As fabric is passed between the horn and a patterned roller (or flower wheel), the vibrations generate intense, localized frictional heat. This heat causes the synthetic fibers in the fabric to melt and fuse together at the point of contact.
  5. Cooling and solidification: The material quickly cools and solidifies once the vibration stops, creating a strong, permanent, and seamless bond.
